Asia Bank offers several different Savings accounts to suit your needs and objectives. You can choose between Passbooks or Statements to Money Market Accounts.
								Deposits are FDIC insured.
		Money Market Account This is an interest bearing savings account with the ability to make a limited number of third party transfers. A minimum deposit of $2,500.00 is required to open the account. Interest is paid to the account on the statement cut-off date, the 20th of each month. A maintenance fee of $5.00 is assessed if the average daily balance falls below $2,500.00 for the cycle. There is a $6.00 service fee for each check after the third for the cycle. On any day that the balance is less than $2,500.00, the interest paid that day shall be the rate paid to N.O.W. accounts. If the average monthly balance is $2,500 or above, Asia Bank ATM usage is free and you get six (6) free foreign ATM withdrawals.
		Passbook Savings Traditional low-cost savings passbook savings account. A minimum of $100.00 is required to open the account. There is a $3.00 maintenance fee per quarter if the balance falls below $100 any time during that quarter. Passbook is required for all transactions. Interest is credited on the last business day of each quarter.
		Super Savings Same as Passbook Savings except it has a higher minimum balance and potentially higher interest rate. A minimum of $5,000.00 is required to open the account. There is a $5.00 maintenance fee per quarter if the balance falls below $5,000 any time during that quarter. Interest is credited on the last business day of each quarter. On any day that the balance is less than $5,000.00, the interest paid that day shall be the rate paid to Passbook Savings accounts.
		Statement Savings Instead of a passbook, a statement is issued every month detailing transactions. ATM accessibility is available. A minimum of $500.00 is required to open the account. There is a $2.00 maintenance fee per month if the average daily balance falls below $500 for the month. Interest is credited on the last business day of each month. If the average monthly balance is $500 or above, Asia Bank ATM usage is free and you get six (6) free foreign ATM withdrawals.
